Granado holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland and a master’s degree from Portland State University he pursued graduate level studies at American Military University in intelligence and national security studies. Prior to joining the USCCB, he worked in the Oregon Catholic Conference, and for the Archdiocese of Portland. For the last four years, he has led the legislative and regulatory affairs efforts of Catholic Charities USA, managing a legal and policy team to serve the organization’s 167 member agencies.
